TyreToMe

For mobile fitters

How a job lands, and how you get paid.

From the customer paying to the money in your account, the whole thing takes about as long as the job itself. Here's the sequence.

  1. 1

    Customer pays through TyreToMe

They type their reg, confirm the tyre size, pick you off the list, and pay by card. The money clears into our Stripe escrow balance, not yours yet. They see a confirmation page with your name on it.

  2. 2

You get an email within seconds

Subject line: "New job TT-XXXXXX — £140 payout, M1 1AA". Inside, you see the postcode, the tyre size and quantity, your exact payout, and one big orange button: "Open job sheet". The link works for 7 days.

  3. Sample fitter email

    New TyreToMe job.

    2 × 205/55 R16 at M1 1AA.

Customer's paid. Payout £149.60 hits your account the moment you tap "complete".

    Open job sheet

Link expires in 7 days. Ref TT-9X4K2P.

  4. 3

Job sheet shows everything you need

Click the email button and you land on the job sheet. Customer postcode, reg number, exact tyre spec, quantity, total job value, your payout. Plus a button: "Mark complete & get paid".

  5. 4

You drive over, fit the tyres, tap the button

When the wheels are back on and the customer's happy, tap "Mark complete & get paid". That's it. The Stripe Transfer fires instantly: 88% of the job value goes to your connected account, 12% stays with us. The customer also gets an email confirming the job is done.

  6. 5

Money arrives in your bank within 1-2 days

Stripe Express does standard UK rolling payouts. You'll see the transfer in your Stripe dashboard immediately. The actual bank deposit usually lands the next working day.

What you need before you start

  • • A mobile number we can text (and email for the job link)
  • • Proof of insurance (public liability + mobile tool cover)
  • • A bank account (Stripe Express handles payouts)
  • • That's it. No monthly fee. No setup cost.

What happens if there's a problem

Customer didn't tell you their car was lowered, can't fit your jack

Tap "raise issue" on the job sheet. We mediate. Funds stay in escrow until resolved. Usually settled in an hour.

Customer says you no-showed but you were there

We pull the GPS log from the job sheet open-time. If you opened it and confirmed arrival, you keep the payout. If you didn't, full refund to customer.

Tyre fitted but customer reports a problem the next day

Standard fitting warranty: 14 days. We'll ask you to return. If you do, no penalty. If you refuse and the customer is right, we refund and clawback.
